The 4th incarnation of Glenmorangie Lasanta, their Sherry cask finished Single Malt. A signature expression for the distillery and one of the first cask finished whiskies produced in the industry, when it was initially released bank in the early 1990's. Still a 12 Year Old age statement but with updated packaging that compliments the rest of the 'extra age series'. Rich and full-bodied, Lasanta is first aged in American oak ex-bourbon casks for smoothness and then this single malt is finished in hand-selected Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Sourced from Jerez in Spain, the sherry casks bring rich raisin intensity, toffee and spices to Glenmorangie's renowned smooth style, enjoyed and awarded across the world.
