Grants master blender Brian Kinsman led the Grants blending team in creating the expression, in association with a small Scottish brewing company. The team finished the variant for up to four months in barrels that were formerly filled with ale. I thoroughly enjoy working with different finishes on our blended whiskies its a fascinating process to monitor the evolution as the casks work their magic on the liquid, said Kinsman.
