Given that Pinot Noir grapes are good enough to make Champagne, that most regal of sparkling wines, we hoped Pinot Noir casks might be worthy of creating a finish for our soft and honeyed malt. And you know what? They most definitely are. Notes of vanilla, citrus and sweet white wine are delivered with a zing so zesty, you can practically hear them. Producer Made by people, not computers, this is the heart of the Deanston. Our whisky spends its entire life in our vaulted warehouses on the banks of the river Teith at our distillery. We use ex bourbon casks to mature, which give our signature whisky its delicious honey sweet flavors. The tall stills and locally grown Scottish barley provide for a wonderful cereal background to this superb single malt.
