Barrel Strength
Nose: Its like you walked into a Rickhouse Valhalla, heavy oak, rich caramel, toffee, honey, leather, tobacco. Swirling the glass brings out more caramel corn notes, orange marmalade.
Reminds me of Elijah Craig Barrel Proof, but with more age and complexity.
Taste: Very rich and creamy. Oak and more oak, however it is not bitter or overly oaked. Followed by leather, and crunchy marshmallow that reminds me of a vanilla bean creme brulee.
Finish: Lingers for quite a long time, quite tannic but I love it. More oak, the vanilla is hanging around, and barrel char.
