The Pozzi Family is originally from Cremona, in Northern Italy. Cremona is a small but culturally rich city. Here, people have always enjoyed a relaxed lifestyle, lots of great food and of course, excellent wine. Our great grandfather the patriarch of the Pozzi Family - became well known throughout the province for his wine business. His horse-drawn wagons traveled over undeveloped, country roads carrying barrels of the best wines from Piedmont and Veneto, Tuscany and Emilia, all to Cremona. His vision did not stop there; he also signed agreements with the finest producers throughout the region to buy each ones entire grape production year after year, thereby guaranteeing the continuation of the Pozzi tradition of excellence. Grandfather Pozzi did well and his business flourished. Growth, like the vine, knows no boundaries. Therefore, several years ago the family decided to export wines worldwide. In the United States we joined with the Deutsch Family, our importer, and together consistently increased our presence in the U. S. Following their suggestion, we developed a wine sold under the Pozzi family name and reserved it for only the highest selected wines. Using only superior quality grapes and controlled production, coupled with simple, elegant packaging at an affordable price, Pozzi Wines continue to follow the family motto, “Res non Verba (Deeds not Words). Daniele Pozzi - the 4th generation family winemaker - continues to catapult the inspiring legacy and tradition of our family wine business into the future. |
